Sir Sean Connery in Slovene newspaper
I'm posting the scan of newspaper article, talking about Sir Sean Connery and his autobiography book. Please don't judge my translation to harsh.
Here is the scan for start:

And here is my (poor) translation:
Fun to be retired
He played in more then seventy films, holds the title of the best James Bond, in sixties he was the sexiest man on the planet and after that sexiest man of the century. Eighteen years latter he's still a charmer, same way as a rule for good vine: older he is bigger charm he has. Maybe this is for the reason; he never said which woman is the most beautiful. »All are gorgeous. « And maybe because he always staid discrete. “I never feel any urge to talk about private life in a public. There are many more interesting things in the World then the private life of a single person”.
Besides the Sean Connery is a Scott from the top of his head down to the toes on his feet This becomes even more obvious with his autobiography, titled “Being a Scott”. The book, after being published for one year, will be published in German language, titled “Main Schottland, mein Leben” (“My Scotland, my life”). His childhood in Edinburgh was marked with economical depression. He left school at age of thirteen and was making his living like milk delivery boy, coffin polisher, model and bodybuilder. At the age of sixteen, he joined the Royal Navy. At 21 he got first advice from the film producer of the film he was acting, to get rid of his accent. He gave him a list of books he must read.
“Heavy literature”, said Connery in the interview with German press agency (DPA). “Tolstoj, Proust, etc. It was hard for me to take a dive in Russian literature. More then half of the time, I didn’t understand what I’m reading. But I didn’t give up!” Which film is most important for him and which film he would like to forget? “There is nothing better then shooting good film with professionals. And there is no worse thing then working with someone who doesn’t know what he’s doing. I adore good story and opportunity to work with the people who know how to tell it. The worse thing is if someone has a huge budget, doesn’t know what he wants, doesn’t have any creativity and is obsessed with idea that the film will be a great success. The best fun I had in the company with Michael Cain and John Houston when we were shooting “The Man who wanted to be a King”. On which one I’m not proud? The last one I was acting in, I could easily forget”. This is the film “The company of Extraordinary Gentlemen”. The failing science fiction comedy after which Connery was retired in 2003. “I made a decision that it’s enough. It was fantastic period and there isn’t much that I would like to change. Form time to time I still read a script, but have now wish to step in front of camera anymore. To be retired is to much fun. The only thing that I miss, is my golf handicap” And the book? What’s so special in Scotland? “The book is full of photographs of people and places that mean to me a lot. James Bond is a part of my history, but yet only one part. The goal of the book is to tell something about Scotland and about the things the Scotland gave to the World. I never said that Scots are better then rest of the people. But we’re equally good as others. We have interesting history. The Scotland is the land of inventors, researchers, businessmen and architects.”
So, this is it.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

THX!
I believe Sir Connery deserves more then just a bit of effort from my side, but I can't do more for now.
