    Snow, snow, snow...

Wow, practically the whole east coast of the US is being pummeled with snow, since yesterday. All the news stations are saying don't go out unless you really have to. Well I had to - at midnight last night to pick up a friend at the airport and then again this morning to drive the housemate to work. There were not many cars on the road this morning (at least that).

Anyway, post your pictures here of this belated winter storm.

    Here's a couple of mine...

I haven't got any pictures, but this morning's drive to the metro was an absolute blast!

It isn't too often that I get to pop the jeep in 4wd and play on some snowy roads. Usually I've got to keep my eye out for other people who don't know how to handle it. Rare indeed to find empty roads with enough snow to make it interesting

Not a bit of snow overnight in Ithaca. Everyone else in the office seems pretty happy about it though.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Any pictures from the currently not-so "Hotlanta" area? I heard that hundreds and hundreds of flights were canceled...

This was sunny Amelia County Virginia this morning. I had to go out and clean the snow from the satellite dish before I could get online this morning.

I did wear my kilt out to feed our chickens, geese and rabbits. It was pretty cold though, because itwas only my light Sportkilt instead of a nice wool kilt.

fantastic pictures. We got foul weather not long ago, but ours was crappy ice instead of the gorgeous-landscape-creating snow. But yeah, it is getting a little late in the season for snow.
