What is one to do when it's 12:30AM and you can't sleep? I thought I might share some little known facts about myself as well as some rambling bits of trivia that are just taking up space between my ears.

-the windshield wiper and laser printer were invented by women
-I was once ranked 13th in the world by the World Bellyflop and Cannonball Diving organization
-the terms "rubber" and "battery" are used in both bridge and baseball
-I met and had drinks with Billy Carter, the Presidential Brother
-a "jiffy" is a real measure of time, .001 seconds
-I met Richard Dean Anderson while he was filming a "MacGyver" episode near my former home
-Donald Duck's middle name is Fauntleroy
-I have portrayed St. Nick on and off since I was 15 years old
-honey is the only food that doesn't spoil
-I have both my wife and daughter's names tattooed on me
-the present Canadian flag was adopted in 1965
-I have a cat named Tattoo
-the temperatures -40C and -40F are the same
Well, after sitting hear, typing in the dark, I'm feeling a little noddy so that's all for this episode boys and girls.
Remember to take your vitamins, eat your porridge and drink your Guinness and one day you too will be Just Like Mike.
Goodnight all.

And it's quite sobering when you're drunk and locked out of your house at 3am when it's that cold, let me tell you that for nothing.

So what you're saying is that vinegar can spoil.
I used to like watching MacGyver back in the Eighties.

Bacteria won't grow in honey, but I've yet to find a good explanation of why. There is much speculation.

Honey doesn't spoil IF the water content is below a certain point...which escapes me right now. In the presence of enough water yeast will grow, hence fermented honey. Honey that is still consumable has been found in Egyptian tombs.
