So here's how dumb I am
So I'm sitting here on a lazy Saturday afternoon with my 12-year-old, and we're watching Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith.
You know the scene in which the Chancellor/Emperor goes before Congress and dissolves the republic, thus creating the Empire? And as he does so, we see Anakin Skywalker killing people left and right?
A light bulb just now went on: this scene was clearly based -- or perhaps outright stolen -- from the baptism scene in The Godfather.
I also didn't know until a year or so ago that The Who's "Magic Bus" is about a drug dealer.
I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Oh, don't worry, everything is that way. It's all already been written or told, and they just have to change the details. Um... Nothing new under the sun?

Senior moment--I'm not allowed "Sharp Knives" So I'm compaired to the "Sharpest Crayon" in the box.
