    solstice eclipse

Was anyone fortunate enough to see the eclipse? Rare and beautiful occurrence, but much foul weather around the globe, all I had were clouds.

I did not see the eclipse but we had snow showers, thin overcast and a cold, windy night. It was beautiful walking the dogs before bed. I wish I had seen the eclipse but I need my sleep!

Not last night due to overcast, but I've seen them before and knowing it was happening seemed to perk me up anyhow.

I tried but that clouds wouldn't give way.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

it was some sight mind you , ive seen a fair few over the years but i think with all the added snow and the fact the trees & rooftops are white with frost with it being minus 10`c (14f)it just added a new vibe to the experience
