I did not see the eclipse but we had snow showers, thin overcast and a cold, windy night. It was beautiful walking the dogs before bed. I wish I had seen the eclipse but I need my sleep!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
started here in the central belt about 6.20ish so i took a photo every 5 mins or so till about 7.40 by then the moon went as dark as it was going to and just as it reached near totality the cold fog came back and it vanished from sight again
it was some sight mind you , ive seen a fair few over the years but i think with all the added snow and the fact the trees & rooftops are white with frost with it being minus 10`c (14f)it just added a new vibe to the experience
