If you notice the forum slowing to a crawl, you can blame it on me. We've had a couple forum members experiencing some issues and I am going to be running some diagnostic/maintenance scripts in the background. It should take less than 30 minutes, so please be patient.

OK, the problem seems to be persisting and it will take some time to sort out what is causing it. If you're having problems with the View First Unread link taking you to the forum home page, we are aware of the issue and will be trying to locate the source of the problem. The process will require me to change some of the forum templates in and out, so if you suddenly see things looking a bit strange, or you notice some items missing, that will be me swapping files around. This will be a rather involved process and my time is extremely limited at present. I'll get in here and work on things as I am able over the next 3-4 days. I ask your patience, once again.
To keep everyone up-to-date, we have managed to identify what is causing the problem with the View First Unread object link. We have not made a decision on how we are going to address the problem just yet, so please ignore that option until further notice.
