St. Baldrick's Day
Hi everyone,
Once again this year, I am shaving my head for children's cancer as part of St. Baldrick's Day. Last year, I was able to raise over my goal of $1000 to help fight children's cancer and find a cure for this horrible disease.
I was also kilted when I did this, so I had that going for me!
Well, this year I'm shooting a little higher - $1250 is my new personal goal, and in addition I've started my own team for this: The Columbus Kilts. I hope to get four people to join me on this team and shave their heads, too. I already have one person joining me on the Columbus Kilts team, (who just joined out of the blue) but if I could get more that would be great!
To donate to me, please visit this page.
I'll get the "before picture" up soon. I haven't had a haircut in several months so it should be a pretty good shearing by the time St. Patrick's Day rolls around!
If you'd like to join my team, please visit this page.
The event itself is March 16, 2006, at Fado Irish Pub at Easton Town Center. There are also many other events for St. Baldrick's Day around the country, so if you're not in this area and would like to join in, visit the St. Baldrick's website!
If anyone has any questions for me, please feel free to email me!
Thanks,
Jamie
