The Standard Clan gained a granddaughter!
Hey Rabble, just a bit of celebration here in the Standard clan. My son and his wife are the new proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, which of course makes myself and Mrs Standard the proud grandparents!
This is our first grandchild, and we are so thankful for a safe delivery, and a healthy mother and baby. Dad is doing pretty good too
Sadie Martha was born Tuesday evening, 6 pounds 6 ounces, and 19 inches. She already has a full head of dark coloured hair. We've not got to meet her in person yet, but have gotten to Skype with them. We'll get to see them in about a two weeks, which seems like a terribly long time from now. At any rate, we are very pleased with our new little princess!

Congratulations, Standard.
My wife and I will be going to Cape Town next week to see our grandson (born a week and a half ago), so we share your excitement.

Congratulations! As the old saying goes, "If I had know how much fun grandchildren are, I would have had them first."
