Hi Kyle.
Thanks for sharing, but with all due respect to her Majesty, and to yourself, what does this have to do with a kilt-related forum? I watched the video through and not surprisingly since I love ceremony and the monarchy, I found it interesting, but I didn't spot a single kilt. Did I miss something, or are we off-topic here?

Hi Father Bill,
I thought it may be of interest to some, hence why it is in the Miscellaneous Forum, i.e. - "This is where our members can discuss those things in their lives not necessarily related to the Kilt." You are correct; there are no kilts, but I did spy braided epaulettes, gauntlet cuffs and silver buckled shoes.
Kindest regards,

It is entirely appropriate, especially as the Queen specifically states (at about 10:33 in the video) that "My government will continue to make the case for Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom." I mean, where does this kilt thing originate?
Entirely appropriate for the Miscellaneous Forum, especially for the diaspora who have an interest in such things, and do not happen to live in the UK. Thank you Kyle!

Fair enough Trefor, but I am glad that sense has prevailed.

I completely agree Trefor, and that was precisely my intent in sharing the link with the rabble. Perhaps I should have clarified that from the outset? I do apologise if I have caused any sort of inconvenience whatsoever. Thank you (Steve and the moderators) for reinstating the thread.
Kindest regards,

No apology needed. Sometimes the "Mod Squad" can be quick and accurate too!
