A Story for November 10th
In the 241 years since the United States Marine Corps started on 10 November 1775, approximately 51,000 Marines have died in combat defending their country. The exact number is unknown since casualty reports from the early conflicts are incomplete.
At the End of Days, the Forces of Darkness will assault the walls of Heaven. When they do, they will find those 51,000 Marines, arrayed before the walls, ready to do combat once again. If the Forces of Darkness know what's good for them, they will turn around and go back where they belong.
Happy Birthday to all my fellow Marines.
And raise a glass to Absent Companions!

I expect the kilted "FEW" will be standing, toe to toe, along the front line. Happy Birthday to all my friends that are here. Airborne will follow or walk beside you all anytime.

Anybody crazy enough to jump out of a perfectly functioning aircraft can party with us anytime.
