Thanks for the link.
Remind me after Burns Day. I am planning to attend three Burns suppers, the first of which takes place on Burns Day, tomorrow.
Many of you 'mericans seem to celebrate Burns before the official date, which appears rather unusual to me as a native Scot
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

One reason for celebrating prior to the Day is scheduling around competing events. We had ours earlier than ever this year due to some scheduling dificulties with other events for some of our regular attendees. The St. Andrews Society of Atlanta, a couple of pipe bands, etc. tend to draw some of our regulars away.
So we did it much earlier this year. Last year we had it on the 24th so it could be on a Saturday night. We have found that Saturday night is best since several guys come some distance, and it's not easy to get off work early enough on Friday or other nights.
From what you said, it appears that you have two Suppers after Burns Day, is that correct?
