There's never a better time to be in the doghouse...
than Valentine's Day.
In fact, I've been in there often enough and long enough lately that there's talk of adding a wing with my name on it.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

I hate Hallmark Holidays. Someone decided we need a Valentines day on October, so we get "Sweetest Day". I never heard of this, but got in BIG trouble with my first wife when one of her co-workers received flowers delivered from her husband who was on travel. I was on travel at the same time and "failed to recognize the occasion".
I hate Hallmark Holidays. Why let your expressions of love for your SO be dictated by the calendar? There are folks on this forum who live this all year round. That is how love should be, and we so often fail to live up to it as the daily grind works away at us.

DITTO! And, fortunately, my wife is totally on board with my anti "Hallmark Holiday" sentiment.

No good for me either. Got a couple "Dear John" emails from my lady today...good old electonic dumping. Happy Valentine's see ya.
Nothing too heavy she's just pointing out that we live so far away and she's so busy now that there's little time for us to see each other so why not find a local squeeze instead? Okay fine...
Of course she still wants to be friends and avail herself of my pleasures when she has the time and the interest and my social life so permits....
Time to kilt up and wander around town testing the power of the kilt.

Here! Here! To our friends and kilted comrads. We'll always be true to the women who love us, and love the women who are true. Have a happy Valentine's day, whether in the doghouse, single, married, or somewhere in between.

Doghouse? Is there any other kind of house? I don't even have to do anything to be there. Ever forget Valentines day? I did, and it's Theresa's birthday too. I was fed p**p for a long time in the dog house... Ok, not all true but it sure is nice when it is nice.

Well I'm single, but I get to spend my time with my two greatest loves of my life. My two Lads, whom I love more than anything that graces the universe and unknowns. Happy Valentine's Day all. To those that need it, GOOD LUCK !

So far, I've done "not-too-much" for my wifey of 10 years...according to her. If she knew about the kilts I ordered for myself, she'd probably be less happy. Oh well, I've been in the dog house before.

This is a day of rejoicing, for me... my divorce, from my 1st wife, came through on Valentine's day, ten years ago!
