Thoughts and Prayers
My grandfather John is in the hospital with pneumonia. He is 85 years old and has had a lot of health problems lately, and has been getting worse and worse. He is accually my step-grandfather, but he is the only one I have ever known. He has lived a long and full life as one of the last real cowboys in America, and he is one of the greatest men that I have ever known. He also served in the Navy, (Pacific Theater) in WWII. I would appreciate it if you all could keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers and maybe raise a glass for him tonight. Hope that he passes as painlessly as possible. No one will ever know how many people's lives he has touched in his great life. Thank you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Extra special since he is a cowboy, they are tougher than usual.
Peace and serenity to you and yours

Of course, prayers and blessings on Grandpa. May the Lord bless him and keep him.

Of course. Prayers for your whole family, as well.

A traditional Celtic Blessing:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Glass raised and family in my thoughts

Best wishes for your graddad. Treasure what time you have had with him, and what time you yet to have.
Sounds like he is a bit of a contemporary of my 89 year old neighbor. Gordon was in the Navy, at Pearl Harbor. And originally from Texas. Will be thinking of John tonight.

John Bloom Reed died today peacefully in the hospital. He was 85 years old. He will be sorely missed.

May he rest in prayer. My prayers go out for you and the rest of the family, that you might find comfort in your loss.

I send my sympathy for your loss. May the memories he gave sustain and comfort you and your family in the days ahead.
