Tornado in my home town!
My dad lives right across the street from where it touched down on Lake Elmo road (so he's calling the tornado Elmo). It took the entire rook off of the Metra down the road. It's a huge building, so destroying it was no small feat. It also warped the McDonald's arches into some crazy unrecognizable alien letter.
A friend of mine who lives in Billings, Montana took this video
And my dad took this picture from his back porch

P.S. In other news, there were two earthquakes of 3.3 magnitude 3 miles away from us here in Thayne on Friday and Sunday. I didn't feel them. lol

Glad every one is safe and secure. Living in Colorado and now Missouri, I have been near a number of tornados but never that close. Any thing that can drive a hay stalk inches into a telephone pole without a crumple is nothing to mess with.
Stay safe and get into the hidey hole.

Glad to see you, your father and the rest of the family are all OK. I grew up in Wichita, Kansas, which is tornado alley so know full well how destructive and dangerous they can be.

There's a town in Ontario, Midland, nearby where the G8 conference is being held, that on June 23 had an earthquake AND a tornado on the same day! Fortunately the earthquake was a relatively minor one, 5R. The tornado of course did considerable damage: no such thing as a minor tornado.

lol tell me about it, the one that hit midland literally went right buy us, so close our work handed out flashlights preparing for the power to go off, (i'm a 30-45 minute drive from midland and some of my friends live there)

Never seen a big tornado that size, we very occasionally see the small land devils here but they usually disperse quickly and do not cause any damage.
The video commentary was absolutely hilarious. Well I suppose its OK to laugh so long as no one was hurt.
