A trip to the grocery store - puffer
This afternoon I headed out on a trip to the Grocery Store. I grabbed my new "twisted cane" ( by TC) & headed out. Here is a recap
1. Was "stopped" by the Lady who delivers my USPS "Pri0rty Mail" She asked if the cane was what she had delivered yesterday. I said yes, then she "examined" it & then said she loved it.
BTW, This has been going on for almost 2 years.
2. I was "stopped" by a very attractive young lady (Jewelery Dept.) that told me that her husband, had ordered his 1st kilt after seeing mine & being referred to XMS.
3. Another female person came up & said she had seen me OFTEN Kilted, and asked if I knew about "kilts" for women. I said no, but I referred her to XMS.
4. The HIGHLIGHT was when a LIttLE girl (5 years old) stood in front of me staring. After asking permission from her Mother, I knelt down, & talked to her. She was "fascinated by the fact, I was wearing such a "pretty" skirt" like the one her Grandfather had.( a SEAFORTH)
On the way home, a car pulled up along sde of me & the gentleman driviving leaned out & said "GREAT"!!
What a fantastic Day.!!

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Puffer,
Each day a lot of men go to the store for a loaf of bread, or a wing nut, or a newspaper.
They return from their errand with at best a loaf of bread, or a wing nut, or a newspaper.
When we kilted gentlemen sally forth in our splendour we come home with memories of wonderful interactions with all manner of different people as well.
The world is just a little brighter and more fun for we lucky kilted folk
Well done!
Cheers

And who is this unread and hungry Wingnut to whom you refer too?

Cheers to that Puffer!
Yesterday, I had a similar experience...I was down at the local coffee hang out and as I stood up to leave, I had a beautiful 25 yr. old blonde turn to me and say with enthusiasm: "REAL MEN WEAR KILTS!"
