An update on my life
I know that life brings us multiple surprises, and my somewhat low key life has been one full of ups and downs. Primarily, I had my auto stolen. They were very brazen professionals. 2 out of 3 have been apprehended, because of security cameras, but the one in the car is still at large. Insurance has come thru, but the feeling of why me has kept replaying in my mind.
So soon I will be kilted in a different set of wheels.

Wow. I've never had a car stolen (or anything of major value, knock on wood). I can't imagine the burning anger and sense of shock that would go through me upon discovering that.
Sorry to hear it, man. Hopefully the insurance check was sufficient to cover the full extent of your loss.

What makes the anger & shock worse, is the non-stop cycling the event through one's mind. Calm one minute, then sitting in silent rage. Taking forever to calm down. Not as bad, but still theft, we recently put our life into a 'secure' storage facility. Locked the door, & went back 2 days later. I found that someone had broken into, one of the two units. They went through everything, & left us with trivial belongings of the unit across the corridor from us. I was stuck in the "rotating squirrel cage" for weeks.
GMan, as you, I hope they get the bugger....with the car!

Glen, I am very sorry to learn of your loss. And the resulting haunting feeling of why me. Hope the new car fits your bill, surpassing what you had before .
Keep on kilting my friend!

That's no fun! Bad guy will be sad to learn there are no kilts allowed for inmates in prison...

As long as you are safe and continue to kilt. Everything will be fine. ;)

Well it all ends well. I have a different car, and it has lower miles on it than the one stolen from me. Even though it is a couple of years older. Someone said I should name it lemonade.
