Ravelry is a forum, similar the X-Marks, for knitters. There are a number of threads about knitting kilt hose, there are a number of X-Markers who are members of Ravelry and review and contribute to the kit hose treads. The problem is that there is one very talented knitter who is being disrespected in her area of expertise. The minute the knitter identifies herself the response seems to always be "Oh, you are Matt Newsome's wife." Here maybe, but on a knitting forum this is wrong. I think we should uphold this nice ladies honor and for the next week ban the name Matt Newsome and refer to him as Jan Newsome's husband. Jan Newsome's husband is a great guy very knowledgeable, but I understand he can't knit as well as a squirrel.
If you see abbreviations, initials or acronyms you do not know the Xmarks FAQ section on abbreviations may help. www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/faq.php?faq=xmarks_faq#faq_faq_abbr
Staying out of the debate, but the knitting squirrel thing was very funny
I don't believe the idea is to arrive in heaven in a well preserved body! But to slide in side ways,Kilt A' Fly'n! Scream'en "Mon Wha A Ride" Kilted Santas 4th Laird of Lochaber, Knights of St Andrew,Knight of The Double Eagle Clan Seton,House of Gordon,Clan Claus,Semper Fedilas
Lol.... the only problem with that is that Joannie, my wife, might be reading X Marks over my shoulder and begin to wonder who this "Jan" person is! Those of you have have a kilt waiting in my queue can attest to the fact that I am a very busy man, and I don't really have time for a second family. :-) The first one keeps me busy enough! ~JMN's husband* *JMN is my wife's handle on Ravelry
Dear JMN's Husband I ask your's and your darling wife's forgiveness! All of us here and JMN know that if you have a mistress it is 8 yards of wool in either deep box or knife pleats. I hope your darling wife didn't hit you to hard because of my mistyping.
