    Vintage piper photos

I'm looking online for old photos of pipers and pipe and drum bands to print on some nice quality paper, put in some cheap frames and put up in my office. Does anyone have any suggestions about sites to visit or places to visit?
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

The the vintage photos thread in the "Photos" section. I think a few pipers are hiding in there!

Ebay often has photos for sale. I snagged a nice one of Gordon Asher of the Seaforth Highlanders playing for two children in 1945 'somewhere on the western front'.

I know you're at Dunsire, member pancelticpiper 'collects' electronic images he may send you. Or, just search his posts. He often starts threads around photos he's downloaded from somewhere.

Check the Library of Congress. I've seen at least one, while I was doing a search.
