Want to rub elbows at pub

I went to "The Pub," forum. I read posts and wanted to respond, reply, interject and generally sound off. But, I couldn't get logged in.
I read the FAQ's for "The Pub." I can't seem to get in. I'm over twenty one and have been a consistent member here at xmts for some time now. Is there another secret to getting through the barroom doors?

did you register there? it's a separate registration process.

Yeh, I'm still gettin' no respect. ouch. Sent a post to the "contact us" link in the lower right corner. Hope I can soon get into the pub. Got a thread start or two that I don't want to put up outside the pub.
