That West Highland White Terrier is in this opinion, odd but cute in his garb.

All three of our sequential Scottish Terriers were / are so stubborn, they would / will not even wear "boots" in wretched Chicago winter, let alone a coat. Angus, some years ago, had a fine Burberry coat someone gifted him...and the naughty lad managed to pull it off and reduce said garment into a rag in a half hour.

Their double-coat of black hair keeps Scotties comfy in even the nastiest weather...and not having any extremity more than ten or so inches from their hearts keeps their blood warm.
