What did Santa bring you?
Santa had on my list a pair of Argyll Tartan hose from D&D Natural Fiber Company to match my tank in ancient Malcolm tartan. They arrived on Christmas Eve.

Santa surprised me with these wood carvings; Scottish Bagpiper and his faithful dog. We have a local artisan who does these carvings with a chain saw. Needless to say the bagpiper was a custom job. My wife will be painting/staining him.

So what did Santa bring you?

A pair of garter ties made out of fabric my wife found in Rocky's remnant basket, and a large flat carving from Celtic Signs. We had house guests for Christmas, so we didn't open most of or gifts. I think we'll do that tonight.

Santa ( me ) gave me a Cold Steel Scottish Dirk and a small addition to the Highland section of my library. . For the price, I am very pleased with the dirk. Excellent constuction and finish. I would prefer that the grip be a bit shorter but, all in all, I think it a nice example of a Jacobite style Scottish dirk.
