What a long strange trip its been
I got an email congratulating me on my anniversary of joining the forum this morning. Looking back at the past 8 years all I can say is wow it has been quite a ride. I joined here not knowing much about Highland wear. I had 1 kilt and was wearing it a few times a week not as well as some of you but still I was trying and I was eager to learn. Today I have 18 or so kilts and countless accessories, alot of things have changed in my life but one constant has been XMarks. I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for making this community what it has become today.

I just passed my 5 year anniversary here in October, and my story is similar to yours, Glen. I must say, your sartorial style has been a source of admiration and inspiration in my own development of kilt-wearing personal style. It was you who led by example with bold-patterned tweed jackets, a style which I have adopted with much enthusiasm. So thank you!

Thank you, Glen, for the contributions you have made to X Marks. You and Jamie deserve a medal for your “1 kilt, 10 looks” thread.
