What vehicle is the best kilt accessory?
OK now a heated disscussion on what vehicle makes the best kilt accessory and why, post pics if you've got them (my Ford Focus just wouldn't cut it so won't be posted). Sheep don't count as vehicles.
My thought would be a Series Land Rover or Defender. Why? It's the highlands, I can just see Jock Scot now cocked shotgun under his arm beside a Hunter Green Series IIa.

Ahem. well, now that you mention it. A foot in both camps,so to speak, and take it from one that knows, Landrovers and kilts do not mix!

Seems to me that a Gulfstream G-IV would be a fine way to accessorize a kilt! And what a bargain at only $15,000,000.

Have to put in a word for my bonnie blue mini... in the colors of the Saltire. Although, caution is advised when climbing out...

Why? For the urban-kilted... comfort, built for tight quarters but great on the road, light on the wallet and... just a touch of "sass."

Jock, that's quite an advert for Land Rover - hauling a Jeep!
On topic, I would think that those wanting to go for the he-man/macho look would drive an open-sided four-wheel drive vehicle, such as the Jeep Wrangler, or such like. Those going for the more sophisticated, man-about-town look might go for something like a Mercedes SL-class or Jaguar XK type (or something similar).
Me, I'm happy to drive my 2-door Chevy Blazer. (Functional, for the various activities I do.)

Interesting topic. My first choice would also be an Landrover Defender. I wonder why Jock Scot does not agree?

It is all to do with the height of the seat ,position of the seat(anybody who knows Landrovers will know there is little or no adjustment) and the door catch. The kilt easily(very easily!) gets trapped in the door catch when closing the door. At best you get an oily mark, at worst(usually) you get the oily mark and a hole in the kilt.

No, but seriously. I second the jeep. Used to drive a Jeep Commanche pickeup. Man, I loved that little truck! Sorry I had to get rid of 'er!

Man, good memories! <sniff>
