William Wallace Day
Do you have any special plan to commemorate William Wallace Day? This evening the Fredericksburg Scottish Society is having a dinner and program to recognize it.

I'm having friends over for food, drink, good cheer, and of course, ... single malt. We'll raise a dram or two, and ultimately share a deoch an doruis. I've taught them all to say "Jock and Doris".
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

In Edinburgh this summer as a volunteer for a charity event, my co-driver for the night was Willie Wallace....,.

I looked at my blu ray copy of Braveheart but not in a Mel Gibson mood.

I know what you mean - glanced at my VHS of "Road to Bali", but wasn't in the mood for the stark realism and brutality of "Hoot Mon".

I'll never be in a Mel Gibson mood again... Not after his drunken hate-laden blow up.
Besides, I've always had a love/hate relationship with Braveheart. Such a feel-good, patriotic entertaining film and yet such a crime against history...
This may be cause for a kilted pub night.

Same here. I think I'll watch Disney's "Brave", instead.
