I have tried a bottle. I have to say that the name and the label are better than the beer itself (but then again the name and label are pretty amazing! )

    Cheers

I've had it years ago. From what I remember it wasn't bad. It didn't bowl be over but I'd consider it a decent microbrew with an amusing ad campaign.

    Oh yes. Oh my, yes.

Didn't care for it at first, but it has quickly grown on me. Not what I'd call a "session" beer, but certainly a beer with attitude.

It is delish int: It Tennessee you have to buy it at the liquor store. It is too high octaine for the grocer. One of the 1st times I bought it I went to the counter with it held low. The checkout girl knew I had something, she just did not know what. I said "I think the beer a man drinks says something about his personality. Don't you?" Then I sat it on the counter. She died laughing & said " I bought that for my boyfriend."

I love a hoppy beer, but that one was a bit rough. By the end of the large bottle, I didn't mind at all. I much prefer Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. Stone has a very respectable product line. AB Ale is a "session" beer for me too.

Never had it, but you have to love the creativity of the name.

I'm not that much of a beer drinker, but I bought a case of this stuff a while back for a gathering of old foggies, and most people thought it was just so-so. They all did, however like the name!

I have to agree Jamie. I have tried many, many types of beers from many different countries and I was not a fan of this one. The name and the bottle were cool, but the actually beer left a lot to be desired.

I am worthy of drinking the beer, but it was not worthy of a spot in my regular rotation of beer selections. I would rather buy a few Belhaven's Wee Heavy or St. Andrew's Ales.
