the badpiper
just wanted to share an individual i have been in close touch with via the internet. heis name is cam mcazie and plays the pipes like i have never heard before. with a punkish type vibe to traditional pipes. truly an inspiration to someone like myself in the midst of learning. i love everything pipes and seeing what can be done with them is amazing. if you go to youtube and type in the "badpiper" or "cam mcazie" he will come up. also has a site with the bad he is currently with in austria. i dont want to hot link but there is some info for you. hope you enjoy as much as i do! ps. he does not know how to read music but has been playing for 24 years.

Fotunately the pipes themselves are an inspiration for learning. I am working very hard for the day when my tutor starts talking GHB.
The work in the beginning is well worth it. Evenings with the practice chanter gives me great pleasure, and my neighbours great annoyance.

He's joined "Power Pipes" w/ Saskia Konz on pipes, Gajus Stappen guitar and the rest of the boys. I've got their album on order, should get to me eventually.
