Classical pipes
I played a track on our celtic music broadcast the other week that is truly unique...it's called Gavottes, Bourée, and Gigue from J.S. Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3. It's from Irish/American Piper, Jerry O'Sullivan from his album "The Gift".
If you love Bach and the pipes - this is perfect.

Jerry is indeed a great piper. I've known him for over 15 years and have had instruction from him on uilleann pipes. If you really want to hear his chops, you need to see him live. The man can play!
The tradition continues!

Jerry O'Sullivan - The Gift, Shanachie Records, 1998
If you want to hear Jerry's most recent disc Mr O'Sullivan Meets Mr O'Farrell can be had through CDBaby.com. This is a sublime example of the uilleann piper's art deriving source materials from the original union pipes tutors and tunebooks published by O'Farrell in the late 18th century.
The tradition continues!

The entire album is available on emusic.com. I haven't listened all the way through yet, but the combination of Bach and pipes makes for wonderful listening.
Graham, thank you for posting this - I have an absence of uilleann pipes in my music collection, and this album helps alleviate that lack.
