A buddy of mine gave me a free ticket to see Daniel Lapp and the Victoria Symphony last night. Let's just say there is a reason the man is internationally acclaimed! One of the guests he had was the accordionist form "The Bills" (fresh back form touring... Sweden was it?). They played a whole list of medleys and reels, from full symphonic sets, to three piece sets. They played music from "Brigadoon" (the mostly neglected Scottish musical). They also had two of the Nnational champion celtic dancers choreographed in at some points. And to cap it off, they brought out part of the BC youth fiddle orchestra (aged 11-17) at the end. If you ever get the oppourtunity, I highly suggest checking out Daniel Lapp. http://www.daniellapp.com/reunion.html
I have heard that he puts on a fantastic show. Glad that you enjoyed Mikhael.

Of course Mikael, as soon as you get legal to drink we can go down to the Irish Times Pub on Bastion Square and see Daniel Lapp almost any evening.
