Enter the Haggis in Greenville, SC
Anyone attending the Enter the Haggis concert in Greenville at the Handlebar next week??? I've never heard of them honestly, and wanted to know if they're worth seeing...So can anyone vouch for them?
Either way it'd be a great place to wear me kilt!

They are fantastic... very high-energy and fun. I met them a few years back when they played here in Asheville and hung out with them a good bit and they are all really nice gents... their bassist is an endorsing artist for the same bass company that I am (Lakland Basses out of Chicago, IL) so it was a nice session of 'shop talk'. This was before I was in the kilted fraternity, so I didn't have that to discuss unfortunately. But yeah, definitely go see them. What night is it? I might swing down to the Handlebar as well.

Good band, Celtic Rock, lots of fun, worth the time and money. They are a band that sounds better live then on there CD.

You guys are soooo lucky! I'm a Haggis-head. They are great! In my opinion, one of THE best neo-celtic bands out there. Not mushy but not too punk and very diverse.

Aye... I did see that in the local listings. I have a gig with one of my bands that same night and won't be able to make it, unfortunately. Maybe the next go-around perhaps.
