    Gaelic Storm in Chicago, 7/31/12

Gaelic Storm will be in Chicago at Lincoln Hall (on N. Lincoln Ave., just north of the Fullerton & Halsted intersection) on July 31. Anyone going?

I realize it's a "school night", but if anyone's going and wants to meet up, it'd be a good excuse for a hastily-arranged kilt night. I have not seen a show at Lincoln Hall, but I've seen the space, and it looks nice. It's owned by the same people who run Schuba's, which is one of my favorite places in the city.

Sounds like fun. I would be willing to attend a meetup for a night of music and merriment. Thanks for cluing me in.

I'll cross-post in the Illinois sub-forum as well, see if it gets any other nibbles.

Saw GS in Tacoma, WA a few weeks back. Great show! There were a few of us kilted; I was the only one in Highland attire from what I saw. Definitely need a few XMTS'ers to represent us in Chi-town!
