An Honor To A Master Dance Teacher

This article ran in the local newspaper this week…the issue is dedicated to the upcoming St. Patrick's Day festivities. I met this fella several times and he really is the root of just about ALL that is Irish Dancing here in Chicago. I note that he passed away from an infection caused by a knee replacement….the word iron is so misused these days but that IS true irony.

PS: You will note that in on of the photos on the second page, he is wearing a kilt…when I was a young 'un all the boys and men wore solid colored kilts for Irish Dance…it took that Flatley fells to make black skinny pants and combat boots popular.
