If that's true you might not want to miss this. We were in Detroit on thursday to see Flogging Molly. We heard about the Pogues playing the next night but decided not to try and get tix to Royal Oak. These guys are the best of the best. MacGowan is a legend. I will not be able to make it to any of these shows but I have some friends headed to one in DC and I am supremely jealous. I caught them a few times back in the day and saw Shane when he was with the Popes. Does Shane MacGowan always think that he is in St. Louis? Is that the liquor talking or is it a joke? Classic!
