Radical Mestizo

Shooglenifty was on NPR this afternoon (i.e., July 18th). I only caught the tail-end of it, didn't know the band's name (but I heard the name of their new album "Radical Mestizo" and I had to look it up). Any reviews?

They are fantastic. I have been into them for the better part of three years and never realized, until my friend from Scotland told me, that they are not some huge touring band. They are just a bunch of guys who like playing. He knows them and said they would think it was awsome that they are gaining popularity on this side of the pond.

I'm a fan, I saw them playing at Hogmanay at Edinburgh a few years ago. great band live. they play some of the celtic festivals around here.
"venus in tweeds" is my favourite album
