Well, fathers day is over and my girls got me the Red Hot Chilli Pipers cd called Bagrock to the masses.
Well what can I say about it, I was simply blown away.I thought when I saw it advertised on TV it was going to be some sort of joke.But these guys are seriously talented with a mix of modern and traditional tunes.
Ever heard bagpiping jazz? Well that's just one of the tunes.I was especially taken with the tune originally by Coldplay called Clocks.
If this is old news to some of you guys out there I appologies but I've just got the cd and wanted to share.

LOL. I read it wrong at first and thought it read "peppers" and I was like NO WAY!! I'll still have to check it out, but man you got my heart pumping thinking that the RHC Peppers were trying some new stuff.

I heard these guys play at the Tartan Day post-parade party here this year. They were rocking the house!

Yup, saw these guys at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh last summer during the Opening of Parliament festivities. Fantastic!
