    Scotland depraved

Well, I wasnt sure where to post this and, as i is a parody of the song, I figured I put it here
These guys are a comedy team out of Canada. I was crusing around youtube today checking out piping vids, and came across these. These guys are hilarious!!!
I'm gonna say that this is probably PG-13. There are innuendos, but, small kids simply wont (hopefully) get them. There are children in the crowd, and, it was as what appears to be a family friendly event, a en-faire, so I figured it was safe to post here. Anyway, without further ado, I give you Scotland Depraved
Please, this is meant as lighthearted fun, if anyone is offended, I do apologize.

    Totally entertaining!
Would love to have had more of the Lassies. And perhaps a sing along verse, ha ha ha
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

This is kinda weird. Earlier this week I was thinking about the Welshman in Shakespeare's "Henry V", who says "p" instead of "b", among other things. And I had heard a couple pipe bands right before so I had Scotland the Brave in my head, and I started thinking Scotland de praved. One of those odd connections I sometimes make.

I've always loved the spoof song! That is pretty similar to the one Iris and Rose sing at Scarborough Faire.

Here is a sample clip of theirs. http://www.iris-n-rose.com/whiskey.mp3

Don't know who wrote the whole song, but all the acts at the Faires seem to borrow from each other a lot. They call theirs bring me some whiskey.

I thought it was kinda low, surprised that was being accepted stateside but... I've already caught myself humming "England's prim and proper but Scotland's depraved."

    Oh, well.

That was downright PG compared to some shows I've seen at Renaissance faires.

    I rather enjoyed that.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
