Wedding Video Music Help
Would you nice people help my wife and I choose some songs for our wedding video? We've had the toughest time finding songs that would go well. Something easy on the ear and hopefully with a romantic touch. Instrumentals are fine too.
Celtic music is slightly preferred, but certainly not a requirement. Thanks for whatever help you can provide!

Pachelbel's Canon played by Simon Fraser University Pipe Band comes to mind.
It's on "The Tartan Top Twenty, The Pipes and Drums," Lismor Recordings, LCOM5279, Lismor Recordings Limited, 27-29 Carnoustie Place, Glasgow G5 8PH, Scotland. Or go to www.lismor.com

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, the website doesn't work and I can't listen to the song. Could you post/send the MP3 file?

A great band I just heard in Concert was http://www.paperboys.com/music.html, they're a celtic style band.
The other (don't know if it's your style) are http://www.mediaevalbaebes.com/audio.html.

I've been listening to (and looking at!) the Mediaeval Baebes for the past couple of months now. Found them via MySpace. Interesting music!

If you want celtic wedding music, how about going to the Source? In 1987 The Chieftains released a recording called "Celtic Wedding" based primarily on Breton music, but given an unique Irish touch by the band.
This disc includes a beautiful suite called, oddly enough, Celtic Wedding. The disc notes contains a nice description of the various tunes used in the suite that could be of assistance in properly using the music to synch to your images.
I think this music will definitely meet your criteria of being both easy on the ear and romantic.
