BIG PHILLY Kilt Night Aug

Hear ye' Hear ye'... It's been TOO LONG since we've had a HUGE Kilt night in Philly!

Steve from FK can't keep away from the east coast, and this time, he's bringing his woman! 4 OTHER kiltmakers (aside from Steve and Kelly and me) have been invited and I'll confirm their presence as they confirm to me.

We're planning on having a night of Food and Drink and Irish music in early August... the date is fuzzy right now, but I'll update it as I firm things up. Let's just say "keep the 18th and / or 19th of August open". This is not a class on how to make kilts... just a night to get to know the people who put lengths of fabric across your bottom!

Irish fests in Cleveland and Utica New York a week apart.

There's a new Kildare's on 2nd St. off of South. It's close enough for me to walk to if I end up working that night. It'd be great to finally put faces to names.

Any word yet on whether it will be the 18th or 19th? I'm crossing my fingers for the 18th! The Hunter Mtn Pipe Band Championship is on the 20th, so I can't make the 19th.

I know Matt can't come up, but I think Steve can still make it out (I'll double check with him). I've also invited Jeff from PK, but haven't heard back from him. If anyone can get in touch with him, let me know!
