BOSTON kilt night
It's been too long! Let's have a Boston kilt night! I recommend The Asgard in Central Square, Cambridge. Not only is it close to me, but it has a great selection of single malt scotches! I suggest next Sunday, 15 June, 7:00. Let me know if this works/doesn't work for anyone.

New England Rabble Kilted Society
Seems like a good idea to me, I had planned on its sister pub at Scolley Square originally (The Kinsale). But the Asgard is only one train change for me, see you there

I will see what I can do but being Fathers Day I may already have some things planned that I haven't told about yet.
My father is going in for surgery at Mass General so maybe I could stop and see him and drop by on the way home.
I will check the Downeaster schedule

Ack, didnt even realize father's day was so soon. Well, I should still be able to make it reguardless, assuming I can find the place.

June 15th is Father's Day and I have committments. Otherwise, I would very much like to be there. Is the New England Kilted Rabble Society an "X Marks the Scot Social Group". If not, shall we make it one?

The Asgard is on Massachusetts Avenue Between the Central Square stop on the Red Lineand the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Getting out of the Central Square station head towards M.I.T., the Asgard is about four blocks down on the right. If you hit the Middle East, you have just gone past it. Parking in the area is difficult but not impossible.

Isn't 7 in the morning a bit early? I usually don't start drinking scotch until at least 10
I would love to attend. I'll just ditch my kids and hop on a train (I refuse to drive in Boston, too many bad experiences).

I've been invited back over to the MIT in Boston but it'll be later on in the year, it'd be good to catch up with anyone around then.
