DFW Kilt Night?

Are there no more kilt nights in the DFW area? Now when I actually have some free time to attend...nada.

Some of the members have been pretty busy and haven't logged on in a while, so things have been a little quiet.

It has been too long, so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting more folks from the area!

Also...Monty Python's 'Spamalot' is at to Bass Hall http://www.basshall.com/ this coming Tuesday - Sunday. I know, I know, such short notice but this show is sooooo funny, I would maim to see it again. Can anybody make that?


On another note, as the last couple of events on the Fort Worth side of things resulted in very few X-Markers showing up....shall we try another meet-up over there - or would the majority like something on the Dallas side?

I'd love to go, although I can't drive to Dallas. My truck is horrible on gas, and I can barely afford to drive it as-is.

That's a possibility. I'm having a new deck built in the backyard so I have to see how quickly that goes, but I am all for it. That band is playing there all through the summer so we can catch them again if we miss it on Friday.

Attworth, would somewhere like Arlington be better for you? That band is playing at the Plaza Pub in Arlington that Cynthia mentioned in the next two weeks or there is always Sherlock's. It sounds like I'm fixated on seeing that band, but I'm really not!

Any thoughts?

I'm in Mansfield, pretty much between the two, so either is fine for me.

I'm located in East Ft Worth, so Arlington usually works well and I work in West Fort Worth, so that works well too.

I could always ride the train to Dallas time permitting and depending on the location.

There's ways around the gas crunch.
