East Meets West- Langley, BC.
When- Saturday, November 1, 2008.
Where- Dublin Crossing 18789 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC.
Time- 7:00 PM
Why- The one and only Robert Pell of RKilts fame will be on the west coast! He will be attending to other business but insisted on sampling some western hospitality.
Our own Steve Ashton, the Wizard of BC, will be making the trek from the island. Don't miss this opportunity to spend an evening with two of Canada's premiere kilt makers.
If you have been considering a kilt by either of these fine makers, why not get fitted in person?
Check out the Dublin Crossing web-site to see the menu and other features.

This is one event you don't want to miss!

Robert, Robert, Robert...
Grant has carefully explained that vulgar "kilt checks" are simple not done on the more respectable Eastern Coast of your great Country. This explains why he has remained pure and untouched. I am very surprised that you should stoop to this West Coast habit...or perchance is Grant not being entirely truthful? hmmmmmmm
Have a great time just don't flaunt that wonderful DFT kilt!

Cheers

Now there's the Rub, Jamie, I'm not really on the East Coast, so Grant's rule may not apply or should I say ethics according to Grant.
But as to the DFT, flaunt it I will, however, I am leaning to leather for this occasion....although given that I am heading out to "Lotus Land" Hemp might be the option....Shall we expect you as well? It might just bump start That Ashton guy to have your kilts done a little earlier! hmmmm... (But Star, I gotta go...all the guys will be there ... it's just up the road... It will drive Grant Buggy! Just think of the pleasure of that alone! Please...um)... Gotcha thinking about this one hey Jamie? Have you checked out the flights yet? You wanna see that DFT in person? Come on we know you do. Better yet bring Star with you, The 13th anniversary treat. I'm sure you will come up with something Panache like.
Cheers Mate sleep well

It would seem someone is a bit confused. You see Grant is in the center of the country....no,no, not the center of the universe as Leafs fans would have you believe, but the (slightly off-) center of the country.
I am sure someone from the East Coast will tell you that kilt checks are a regular thing. Mind you kilt checks sound like they are a fairly regular thing for most.... in Ontario too. I think Jamie has been lead astray.
Robert and Steve? Hmmm.

It's about a 14 hour drive and you'd have a place to crash. The way our dollar is going this week beers would cost next to nothing for you.

How does that work. I keep getting told I owe him a pint or two as well, but can't seem to remember why

Say, I've lost track of where our zeppelin is - does this mean Robert will be bringing the Saltire east on his return?

Afraid not Wompet. If he followed through on his plan, the Wizard has sent the Saltire on to Ferintosh.
