Lukewarm. Depends on how many are going to be out. If we're anticipating a big turnout it's worth the drive for me.

Oh as much as I like cigars, I like pipes even more so at least one pipe in the crowd.

    Quakertown? Where?!

    Not exactly a Celtic hot-bed.

There's a few spots right there in Allentown that would suffice too.

dont get me started about allentown or reading (although there is a really good cigar shop in west reading). There is a new NICE cigar shop in q-town, with leather chairs and a big screen tv, not the craphole thats in the q-mart.

and no its not really a celtic hotbed, but I'm breaking em in one beaten redneck at a time

Count me in... I'll see if I can rustle up a few local customers to make the trek...

How about Montana West? That country bar is DEFINITELY used to seeing guys in kilts... My buddy Mark and Phil go up there all the time and every time I go, I'm kilted. Usually get a pretty good reaction. Not too keen on the women there though... red necks look bad on men and WORSE on women. A little too *sing banjo song from Deliverance here* for me. The females that redeem the place are the wait staff.

Actually going to a redneck bar kilted.... oh too fun! My wife used to bartend at a redneck establishment in Durham, NC and I used to just hang out at the end of the bar, not looking like her husband, just to keep her safe since the 10 or so bouncers weren't quite enough. I can't imagine what kind of reaction I would have gotten in a kilt.

As for redneck country bar women, well...

Well, I was raised in a sophisticated kind of style.
Yeah, my taste in music and women drove my folks half wild.
Mom and Dad had a plan for me,
    It was debutantes and er-symphonies,
But I like my music; I like my women wild.

Yeah, an' I like my women just a little on the trashy side,
When they wear their clothes too tight and their hair is dyed.
Too much lipstick an' er too much rouge,
Gets me excited, leaves me feeling confused.
An' I like my women just a little on the trashy side.

Shoulda seen the looks on the faces of my Dad and Mom,
When I showed up at the door with a date for the senior prom.
They said: "Well, pardon us son, she ain't no kid.
"That's a cocktail waitress in a Dolly Parton wig.
I said: "I know it dad, ain't she cool, that's the kind I dig."

Yeah, an' I like my women just a little on the trashy side,
When they wear their clothes too tight and their hair is dyed.
Too much lipstick an' er too much rouge,
Gets me excited, leaves me feeling confused.
An' I like my women just a little on the trashy side.

I like 'em sweet, I like 'em with a heart of gold.
Yeah an' I like 'em brassy, I like 'em brazen and bold.
Well, they say that opposites attract, well, I don't agree
I want a woman just as tacky as me.
Yeah, I like my women just a little on the trashy side.

Hmmm Cigar shop... redneck bar afterwards... Jimmy Carbomb, Buddah, Rocky, Kelly, and a few others... that sounds like fun. I'm in.

Now Magnus... I know you're quite the Ladies man, so just remember to bring your "raincoat". You don't know where those Montana West girls have been.

LOL nothing to worry about here. That night at Finnegan's Wake was a full frontal assault from kilt fetishists that I was completely unprepared for. I'm somewhat more seasoned now, and more aware of the awesome powers at my disposal thanks to your mad sewing skillz and the ancient mojo that haunts kilts and their wearers.

Hey Pauly, let's just get a warm day and invade KB's new deck! We can pick the lock on the liquor cabinet and never leave!

Not sure if KS will be into the cigars, but how local can we get for the guy?
