Memphis DEKS Tartan Day

Consider this the official announcement of the DEKS Observance of Tartan Day 2008.

Festivities shall commence Sunday, 6 April, 1300 hrs at Dan MacGuinness Pub Downtown - Memphis.

Please watch this thread for updates.

Hope we have a large contingent present.

I'm planning on being there too.
I'll be coming up on Saturday so if anyone is interested in a get together, let me know. We should hit up Dirk's bistro.

I've got a friend coming up next week for a ball game at the FedEx dome thingy, and I told him I'd loan him a kilt if he wanted. He didn't go for it. He did sound interested in the Saucer though. Especially when I mentioned the fine service.

Of course you understand it's one of the most expensive hotels around - but that's what expense accounts are for.

"I'll look into it" means when I walk past I'll look through the front door. I know it's a wee bit pricey.

And if your expense account is covering it, I'll be happy to stay there!
