This may seem like a preposterous question, one way or the other, but would it be acceptable to wear an acrylic kilt from Kiltmart to a kilt-night? I think it looks okay but I know there are purists everywhere and that's all I own kilt-wise.

Ok Lads, it be a Tuesday evening <12/18/07> what is our head/ kilt count for this Sat meeting of the NYC/NJ chapter of X Marks the Scot + Men In Kilts NYC.
I was thinking if our total count was less then 12 then we could book the row of tables up front along the wall for 6/6:30 pm?
