Robert Burns Night @ The Tap Room (STL)
This next Sunday, January 25th, is Robert Burns Night at the Tap Room, downtown St. Louis.
More information here.
It's in the upstairs rooms, for anyone who hasn't been before (and for anyone who's shown up on a previous year and sat downstairs, wondering where everyone was).
Don't miss the tapping of the first barrel of Schlafly Scotch Ale of the year and then Tom Schlafly's Annual Poem, in the style of Robert Burns.
This is all followed by lots of good food and music and fun and dancing and kilts and... well, you get the gist.
Hope to see you there. I'll be in Irish National Tartan with matching Thorfinn sporran. Hopefully I'll be there with mang1974 in his Montgomery Modern and an old friend of mine from college, Christian, in his... actually, not sure what tartan he has. Possibly the clergy tartan? He is, after all, clergy...

It was a little too smokey for my taste; as much as I hate an intrusive government, I'd love to see MO go smoke-free...

Got to meet up with a friend from college I haven't seen in almost 15 years! Christian is on the right, wearing Boyd; I'm on the left, wearing Irish National and my Thorfinn sporran (#103).
