Jonathan (Shawhighlander) and I showed up in attire at the regular Monday night music session at Fado's yesterday. This was my first time there (Jon is a regular), and we had a blast. This Fado's is a model display for the Fado's franchise. There are 5 different pub styles in different areas, two of which I capture here. A general view of the musical group. Just folks that get together and play. The (unfortunately) redeyed lady is Katherine Thomas, who is very active in the Atlanta Celtic music scene The (really) Irish fiddler and the Uillean piper This young lady is an accomplished flute player and step dancer. I think she's worth another pic, even with the redeye Turpin and Jonathan enjoying a brief respite in the cozy section. Perhaps showing a bit too much leg? These ladies engaged our attention and we spent the rest of the evening getting to know them. I may have gotten my first leather-working commission on the strength of my sporran work, although it would be a ladies bag. Amie, Turpin, Stephanie and Jonathan
