World Wide Toast to Robert Burns
Just a reminder! It's been posted on KiltNights.net
Today, a visitor to my ofiice was admiring my photos of Scotland. She asked have I been to the new Pub. No, I said but was planning to on Sunday. I explained the 'Worldwide Toast to Robert Burns.' Her daughter is waitress at the Pub! She said the staff were really enjoying wearing their kilts.
Yes, the taste of freedom!

If everything goes to plan, I am going to try to leave DC at about 5 PM. I hope to get there before you toast! This will be my first ever Burns event. Google maps says 1 h 10 min and with traffic, up to 1h 30 min to get there.

See you Sunday!
Just checked out the calendar and it's clear (i.e. - my lady told me I didn't have any plans ) So I'll be there. I've got some friends who live in that area, so I might be able to recruit some more folks for the toast.
See you all on Sunday!

All, I'm very sorry I missed this evening. I've been off the net, and alid low, for a while. A couple of weeks before Christmas, I slipped on a flight of stairs.......verdict: fractured lumbar Vertibrae! Although I am back to work (light duty), I'm not driving very far, nor, riding very far............ Can't stay in one position tooo long, or I get real stiff and sore. Again, Sorry I missed it! I AM setting my sights on the Richmond-Church Hill St.Patrick's Day celebration, though. I promise I'll be out and about, klilted, and enjoying the day!

Ah, The Pub - part of the Tavern Restaurant Group - the same folks who run Nicholson's, the Pub, deSha's, and other restaurants here in Cincinnati and northern KY. I don't think the staff at The Pub(s) here in this area wear kilts. Looking forward to the photos.
Regards,
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

Rex - it's a beautiful pub they have there in F'burg. Pictures in the "Show your kilt pics" forum. Oh, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that all of their staff are kilted and the lasses too.
