Ahoy! From Melbourne, Australia
After a month or two of lurking about, I thought I'd say hello.
I finally started wearing the kilt whilst in Scotland for the MacLean Centenary Clan Gathering last year. I had not expected the amazing feeling of comfort and confidence that the kilt gave me, but since then I have been kilted fairly regularly (except during our horrendous summer that we just experienced), and always enjoy the responses (even the negative ones) that I get.
I have learned a lot from this forum, and look forward to participating more in the future.
Cheers!
Cameron

Good evening, and welcome from a comparatively near neighbour.

Welcome aboard from America's North Coast!
You're in good company here, we've got quite a few Antipodean members.
Glad to hear that your infernal summer is finally coming to an end, I've got some friends there that said it was truly unbearable.
