Another Fellow Kilt-Wearer From Canada
Hello to all those that love the Kilt,
My name is Spencer and I hail from the clans MacFarlane and Brown. I live in Toronto, where I study Finance. I am entrepreneurial, love music, literature & and single malts (those interests often combine) and have an appreciation for all forms of art.
I just bought my first kilt, a beautiful 8-yrd modern hunter tartan. However, I can't find many occasions in the city for which I can display my heritage.
I'd like to wear the kilt out of the house as often as possible. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the "Great Rabble"!
Suggestions? Put it on and go about your business with confidence. If asked why you're wearing a kilt, give them a very worried look, reach for one of the buckles and ask quite seriously, "Do you think I should take it off?"

Spencer. I hope you enjoy the forum. As for places to wear your kilt I have some suggestions for you. I am in Toronto and we put on a kilt night the first Tuesday of every month we call it Tartan Tuesday and have a facebook page. Here is the photo thread for the event, please excuse the missing photos we had a bunch of them on photobucket that I've not yet been able to get over to flikr yet. We are coming up to our 4th anniversary in May.
