Another greeting from down under
Hi all, this truly is an amazing site, and although I haven't spent time perusing I kind of get the feeling it's home. Crazy I know but even the flag on the title bar is enough to know that I need to be a part of this awesome community. My wife is a Sassenach but I don't hold that against her. Actually part of her heritage is from the clan Maclean and she still has her tartan.
Well that's all for now but hope to make new friends.

I hope you find interesting things on this site. I've learned so much over the years here.
Personally I have Scottish, Irish, and Cornish ancestry, the Cornish the most recently-arrived here (my grandmother was a first-generation American, her parents, aunts, and uncles were all born in Cornwall).
And I have distant cousins in South Australia, of the distinctively Cornish name of Varcoe, my great-grandmother's maiden name.
