Another Maxwell representative onboard
Greetings I'm a proud kilt wearing Maxwell who was wed wearing the Maxwell Tartan, also owning Irish National and Saffron kilts. Grew up in the Philly area, spent a breif stint in NE Tennessee but back up north once again.
Love wearing my colors to occassions and turning a few heads along the way. Even was groomsman in a Mexican wedding and wore my kilt with a guayabera shirt. It was a hit.

So much better to be onboard on this board rather than overboard like your famous namesake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Maxwell
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Its most certain I've no ties to the illfated Maxwell line he spurred. My family were aboard the Ship Lydia from Belfast to Philadelphia in 1807. Before that I have no information but the family was very good about keeping a book that until 2 generations ago was kept very present with names births, deaths etc. But with the growth of the family came loss of communications. But thanks to the internet I'm filling in gaps and compiling information as we speak

Welcome from the highlands of Central Massachusetts. It is indeed a garment suitable to many venues.
